Our ability to provide cloud deployments enables our customers to reduce their infrastructure requirements and simplify maintenance. For example, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) in the United Kingdom became the first UK emergency service to operate a fully cloud-based control room hosted on Microsoft Azure. This system streamlines voice, data and dispatch operations, and integrates with mobile data terminals and the Airwave radio network. It supports 40 fire stations that serve over 2.2 million people. This flexible cloud deployment model enables WYFRS to adapt as future needs evolve.

Modern control rooms use additional media, such as video and pictures, to provide at-scene intelligence. North West Fire Control (NWFC) in the United Kingdom uses our CRS — which includes the innovative FlagMii chat, file-sharing and video-feed solution — to provide real-time situational awareness. It connects all four regional fire services, enabling efficient emergency call handling and incident response.

The Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA) adopted our Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) solution, Unique Command & Control, and Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) modules, now part of the CRS suite, to modernise emergency medical services for Gibraltar’s 40,000 residents. This integration has improved the efficiency of emergency call triage, dispatch and incident management. It demonstrates how our modular CRS suite, which is built on open standards, allows customers to select the components they require.

Case Study: Gibraltar Health Authority

Sophisticated, multi-agency support enables coordination among emergency services. GO p.l.c., Malta’s leading communications provider, implemented the Unique module for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS), fire and police operations, and 112 call-taking operations. This has improved the coordination and operational efficiency of Malta’s national emergency services.

As the first Command & Control application to receive the Priority Dispatch ProQA Paramount Titanium international certification, it offers unparalleled integration with the market-leading triage support system. Azienda Zero Piemonte in Italy makes full use of this, with the Unique module continuously modernising EMS and public safety operations to support seamless collaboration and improved outcomes.
